An extraction bagA includes a bag main bodyformed of a water permeable filter sheet, a thin plate-like memberprovided on an outer surface of the bag main body, and an extraction material filled in the bag main body. The bag main bodyhas a first surfaceA and a second surfaceB opposed to each other, and an upper sidecorresponding to edges thereof. The thin plate-like memberincludes a first memberA on the first surfaceA of the bag main body, and a second memberB on the second surfaceB of the bag main body, and theseA andB are continuous with each other via a first horizontal folding line Lhextending along the upper side. The thin plate-like memberincludes a pair of elongated regions(opposed to each other) sandwiching a central bonded portionof the first memberA from its left and right sides that are provided astride the first memberA and the second memberB and are pulled out from the bag main body, and a vertical folding line Lvalong which the elongated regionscan be pulled out. This extraction bagis a tea bag type extraction bag filled with an extraction material such as ground coffee and capable of allowing the bag main body to be easily sunk into the hot water or moved up and down.
