Abstract

A method for transferring heat using a heat transfer facility containing a heat transfer composition, said heat transfer composition including a refrigerant, which includes 2,3,3,3-tetrafluoropropene, and a lubricant. The lubricant includes a polyol ester, and the solubility of the 2,3,3,3-tetrafluoropropene in the lubricant at 0° C. and at an absolute pressure of 2.2 bar is less than the solubility of 1,1,1,2-tetrafluoroethane in the lubricant at 0° C. and at an absolute pressure of 2.0 bar. A method including the successive steps of: evaporating a refrigerant; superheating the refrigerant; and compressing the refrigerant.
