Abstract
The present disclosure relates to a pre-5-Generation (5G) or 5G communication system to be provided for supporting higher data rates Beyond 4-Generation (4G) communication system such as Long Term Evolution (LTE). A network providing device includes at least one transceiver, and at least one processor operatively coupled with the at least one transceiver. The at least one processor is configured to acquire a measurement result of a signal transmitted by a first cellular network, and transmit, to a router, a control message for setting a router to access a network identified on the basis of the measurement result. The network comprises at least one of the first cellular network and a second cellular network.
