Abstract

A drive train () for a motor vehicle () has an electric machine () with a rotor (), a stator () and an air gap () between the rotor () and the stator (). The drive train () also has a transmission () and a cooling circuit () for conducting a coolant through the electric machine () and the transmission (). The coolant is provided for lubricating and cooling the transmission () and for directly cooling electrical conductors of the stator (). The cooling circuit () is provided in such a way that the coolant does not enter the air gap ().
