Abstract
A compound represented by formula (1): wherein Arand Areach represents a group represented by formula (3); and Rrepresents a naphthylphenyl group, a biphenylyl group, a terphenylyl group, a biphenylenyl group, a naphthyl group, or a phenylnaphthyl group; Rrepresents a hydrogen atom; Rand Rare as defined in the description is provided. An electroluminescence device which contains the compound of formula (1) is also provided.
