Aqueous emulsions contain (A) oxamidoester-functionalized organopolysiloxanes having units of the formulaR(OR)ZSiO  (I)whereZ is a group of the formula—Y—NR—CO—CO—O—R  (II),with the proviso that the sum a+b+c is ≤3 and each molecule contains at least one radical Z.(B) emulsifiers and(C) water.
