Abstract

A positive electrode material contains a positive electrode active material and a first solid electrolyte material. The first solid electrolyte material is represented by Chemical Formula (1): LiMX. In Chemical Formula (1), α, β, and γ each represent a value larger than 0, M represents at least one element selected from the group consisting of metal elements other than lithium and of metalloid elements, and X represents at least one element selected from the group consisting of fluorine, chlorine, bromine, and iodine. The ratio of the volume of the positive electrode active material to the sum of the volume of the positive electrode active material and the volume of the solid electrolyte material is not less than 0.55 and not more than 0.85.
