Abstract
An information processing apparatus () detects that a customer () takes up a product from a display area (), using a captured image (). The information processing apparatus () generates information (customer information) indicating the acquisition count by the customer () in a manner that is associated with an identifier of the customer (). The information processing apparatussets the acquisition count, which is indicated by the customer information on the customer (), in a case where the customer () makes payment for the products, to zero.
