Abstract

A synthesis process for forming nanodendrites. The nanodendrites are utilized in a process to form a heterojunction catalyst. Nanodendrites may include PtRunanodendrites that can be oxidized through annealing to form PtRuO. One heterojunction catalyst comprises PtRuOon a carbon support.
