Abstract
A light emitting element includes: a laminated structureobtained by laminating a first compound semiconductor layer, an active layer, and a second compound semiconductor layer; a first light reflecting layerdisposed on a first surface side of the first compound semiconductor layer; a second light reflecting layerdisposed on a second surface side of the second compound semiconductor layer; and light convergence/divergence changing means.
