A self-luminous display panel including light-emitting elements, column banksY, and a light-shielding film. The light-emitting elementscorrespond one-to-one with sub-pixels, each sub-pixelin a pixel emitting a different color of light. The column banksY are disposed between the light-emitting elementsin a row direction, each having an elongated shape in a column direction. The light-shielding filmhas openingsat positions corresponding to the light-emitting elementsin plan view, downstream in a light emission direction of the light-emitting elements. In plan view, distances in the row direction between edges of the openingsof the light-shielding filmand defined points of the light-emitting elementsare different depending on light emission color of the light-emitting elements, due to different widths of portions of the column banksY adjacent to the light-emitting elements
