Abstract
A gas sensorhas a measuring channelwith a gas inletand with a gas outlet, at least one receptor layer, a reference electrodeand a voltage-controlled analysis unit. The reference electrodeis capacitively coupled with the receptor layer. The reference electrodeis connected to the analysis unitin an electrically conductive manner. The receptor layeris formed in measuring channel. The measuring channelforms a dielectric layer between the receptor layerand the reference electrode. The receptor layerhas a supportand an analyte-binding layer. The present invention provides for the analyte-binding layerto be a self-assembling monolayer (SAM).
