Abstract

A method and a system for generating a fragrance (also referred to herein as perfume) are disclosed. A method may comprise providing a perfume blender machine () and cartridges () for storing liquid olfactory ingredients (), the machine comprising dispensing means to dispense olfactory ingredients () from the cartridges () for generating a fragrance (); controlling the dispensing means to generate a fragrance () based on instructions given by a user on the liquid olfactory ingredients () to be blended and the quantity of each; and generating a recipe with the information of the ingredients () and their respective quantities which have been used to generate the fragrance.
