Abstract

The present disclosure relates to a composition comprising (20S,24R)-6-O-β-D-glucopyranosyl(1→2)-β-D-glucopyranoside-dammar-3-one-20,24-epoxy-6a,12b,25-triol, which is a novel ginsenoside, a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, a hydrate thereof or a solvate thereof as an active ingredient. In addition, it relates to a method for improving skin elasticity or skin wrinkles, which comprises administering an effective amount of (20S,24R)-6-O-β-D-glucopyranosyl(1→2)-β-D-glucopyranoside-dammar-3-one-20,24-epoxy-6a,12b,25-triol, a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, a hydrate thereof or a solvate thereof to a subject in need thereof. The novel ginsenoside, a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, a hydrate thereof or a solvate thereof has a superior effect of improving skin elasticity and skin wrinkles.
