Abstract

At least one hardware processor () in a wireless access point () in a first local network () managed by the wireless access point () routes traffic between wireless devices () in the first local network () and a second network via a first interface () configured for communication with wireless devices () in the first local network () and a second interface () configured for communication with the second network and, upon determination that communication via the second interface () is impossible, connects (S) through a third interface () to a second wireless access () point as a wireless device in a second local network () managed by the second wireless access point () and routes (S) traffic between the wireless devices () in the first local network () and the second network via the first interface () and the third interface (). This way a back-up connection can be provided.
