Abstract
The present disclosure relates to a sealing device () for a container. The sealing device comprises a housing () housing an integrated circuit (). A locking member () is slidably attached to the housing () and includes an electrical conductor () embedded therein. The electrical conductor () and the integrated circuit () form an RFID circuit when the locking member () is in a locking position. The electrical connection between the electrical conductor () and the integrated circuit () is broken when the locking member () is cut or forcibly removed from the housing () and cannot be re-established. In this manner, a manipulation of the sealing device () can be reliably prevented.
