Abstract
Connector assembly comprising a housing and a strain-relief device attached to the housing for clamping a cable in a fixed position at the rear opening of the housing. The strain-relief device comprises first and second portions, both made of a single part and being detachable from the housing. The first portion has a first arcuate surface engaging the outer sheath of the cable, and the first portion also comprising first retaining means engaging the housing for retaining the first portion on the housing. The second portion has a second arcuate surface also engaging the outer sheath, and the second portion also comprising second retaining means engaging the housing for retaining the second portion on the housing.
