Provided herein is a solid-state battery having high volume energy density, as well as a method of manufacture of such a solid-state battery. A solid-state batteryis a laminate including a first collector layer, a positive electrode layer, a solid electrolyte layer, a negative electrode layer, and a second collector layer, in this order from the top.
