Abstract
In an exemplary embodiment, a capacity control valve includes: a valve main bodyhaving a first valve chamberthrough which a fluid at control pressure passes and which has a first valve seat surfaceA, and an interior spacethrough which a fluid at suction pressure passes; and a valve bodyhaving an intermediate communication passagefor communicating the first valve chamberand the interior space, and a first valve partC for opening and closing the intermediate communication passageadjacent to the first valve seat surfaceA, wherein an opening area of the first valve partC is smaller than that of the intermediate communication passage. The capacity control valve is capable of simultaneously achieving reduction of a start-up time of the variable capacity compressor and improvement of responsiveness of capacity control at the time of control.
