Abstract

A two-stroke engine () has a throttle motor () for driving a throttle valve (), a fuel injection device () disposed in an intake system () including a crank chamber (), and a control unit () controlling the throttle motor () and the fuel injection device. The two-stroke engine () is designed to achieve an engine rotation speed of 4,500 rpm to 7,000 rpm when the throttle valve () is fully open. The two-stroke engine () is operated with the throttle full open by the control unit (), and a battery () is charged with electric power generated by a generator () using the two-stroke engine.
