Abstract

The disclosure relates to a pre-5-Generation (5G) or 5G communication system to be provided for supporting higher data rates Beyond 4-Generation (4G) communication system, such as Long Term Evolution (LTE). A power distribution apparatus in a wireless communication system is provided. The apparatus includes at least one transceiver, and at least one processor, wherein the at least one processor is configured to identify a cell group set for a particular transmission interval among multiple cell groups connected to a terminal, perform a distribution of a power for the terminal to each of cell groups in the cell group set, and transmit power allocation information according to a result of the distribution to the terminal, wherein the cell group set includes a cell group including one or more cells in which uplink transmission is to be performed at the particular transmission interval.
