Abstract

An information processing apparatus () detects an estimation position (), which is a position where a target object is estimated to be present, from a captured image () generated by a camera (). The target object is a belonging of a person. The information processing apparatus () detects a plurality of parts () constituting a body of a person included in the captured image (). For example, the parts () are joints. The information processing apparatus () detects the estimation position () of the target object in the captured image () using information relating to a position of each of a plurality of the detected parts ().
