Abstract

This lens drive devicecomprises: an autofocus drive unit for performing autofocus using a driving force of a voice coil motor configured from a first coil partand a magnet part; and a shake correction drive unit for performing shake correction using a driving force of a voice coil motor configured from a second coil partand the magnet part. The magnet partincludes first magnetsA,C disposed at two mutually facing sides among the four sides of a substantially rectangular-shaped lens drive device in a plan view, and a second magnetB disposed at another side. The side the second magnetB faces is designated a no-magnet disposed section R where no magnet is disposed.
