Abstract

The present invention describes compounds of formula (I) Wherein:Ris selected from H and CHRis selected from H, CHalkyl, CHalkyl and CH-phenyl, said phenyl optionally substituted by OH or OCH, (1R,2S,5S)-5-methylcyclopent-3-ene-1,2-diolX is O or SY is C, N or S. These compounds have been identified as novel compounds useful in the treatment of multiple sclerosis and other autoimmune diseases.
