Abstract
A coating nozzlecontains an introduction passage, an expansion passageand a slit passage. The introduction passageintroduces high viscosity paint P and the slit passagedischarges it. The expansion passagecommunicating with the introduction passagehas a wider space than the introduction passageand substantially sectored-trapezoidal shape. The slit passageis a slit opening communicating with the bottom of the expansion passage. The slit passageincludes a slit inlet porton the bottom of the expansion passageand a slit outlet portwith an arc shape on the other side of the inlet port. This slit passagehas Lt/R×100=70-130% wherein the curvature radius of the arc of the outlet portis R and the chord length Lt of the arc of the outlet portis Lt.
