Abstract

A plug arrangement for use with cables (K) having cable plugs (S) comprises a housing () for receiving the cable plug (S), a clamping element () encompassing the cable (K) and accommodated in the housing (), which clamping element () clamps, in a compressed state, the cable (K), and a clamping sleeve () for establishing a threaded connection with the housing (). When the threaded connection is tightened, the clamping element () is braced in the housing () and the cable (K) is clamped in the clamping element (). The front end of the clamping element () facing the cable plug (S) is configured for receiving and positioning the cable plug (S) in a predetermined position at the front end of the clamping element () or is provided with at least one stop for the cable plug (S). Thus, when the threaded connection is tightened, the cable plug (S) is also positioned with respect to the housing () and the clamping element () so as not to rotate and fixed.
