Abstract
A chuck () for use with a powered driver having a rotatable drive shaft is provided. The chuck may include a body, a plurality of movable jaws (), a nut (), a sleeve (), and an anti-vibration assembly (). The anti-vibration assembly may be operably disposed between the sleeve and the nut and configured to absorb vibration caused by operation of the power driver and maintain a position of the sleeve relative to the nut when the sleeve is in at least a locked position.
