Abstract
A method for controlling a compressor towards an unloaded state, in which the compressor includes a compressor element () with an inlet (), in which in the unloaded state, a residual flow (QD) is suctioned via the inlet () towards and into the compressor element (), and in which for a transition from a loaded state of the compressor to the unloaded state, the inlet () of the compressor element () is partially closed in successive discrete transitional steps.
