Abstract

A personal care cleaning device () including a housing (), a resonant drive actuator (), which includes a rotor () having a first moment of inertia (J) and a stator () having a second moment of inertia (J); a first plurality of leaf spring elements () having a first spring constant (k), each leaf spring element of the first plurality of leaf spring elements () being connected the housing () and to the rotor () such that each leaf spring element of the first plurality of leaf springs elements () extends radially from the rotor () to the housing (), each leaf spring element of the second plurality of leaf spring elements () being connected to the housing () and engaging with the stator (), wherein the ratio of the first (k) and second (k) spring constants is sufficiently similar to the ratio of the first (J) and second moments (J) of inertia such that there is substantially no resulting torque transmitted to the housing () during operation.
