Abstract
A bayonet connector () suitable for connecting a filter cartridge () or an air supply tube to a respirator (). The bayonet connector () has a tubular male part () and a female part. The male part has a tube () with two or more lugs () formed on it, which engage with engaging ribs () located on an interior sidewall of the female part (), or vice versa. The lugs () and their corresponding engaging ribs () are located at different axial positions.
