Abstract

Systems and methods are disclosed and include a light-emitting diode (LED) array with LEDs associated with respective paint color chip locations of a display assembly. A processor receives a first signal indicating first paint color chip locations and determines whether a second signal is received from a second device within a threshold time, the second signal indicating second paint color chip locations. The processor assigns a first lighting characteristic to the first device and a second lighting characteristic to the second device, identifies a first set of LEDs associated with the first paint color chip locations and a second set of LEDs associated with the second paint color chip locations, and transmits an activation signal to the LED control circuit to activate the first set of LEDs based on the first lighting characteristic and the second set of LEDs based on the second lighting characteristic.
