Abstract
An endoscope in which an erecting operation mechanism is provided at an operation section and that can prevent an increase in size of a holding part of the operation section is provided. An endoscope according to the present invention includes an operation sectionhaving an operation section main body, a holding partconnected to the operation section main body, and an extension partextending from the holding parttoward a distal end side; an insertion sectionprovided on a distal end side of the extension part; an erecting baseprovided at a distal end partof the insertion section; a movable memberthat is provided at the extension partand that moves in association with an operation of an erecting operation lever; a wirethat is coupled to the erecting baseat a distal end side thereof, that is coupled to the movable memberat a proximal end side thereof, and that is pushed/pulled by the movable member; and an attachment memberthat is provided at a proximal end of the wireand that is engaged with the movable memberin an attachable/detachable manner by a one-touch operation.
