Abstract

A composition for controlling a building-inhabiting pest, the composition including, as an active component, at least one kind of an amide derivative represented by the following Formula (1) in which, Q represents an unsubstituted phenyl group or a phenyl group substituted at the 2-, 3- or 4-position with one fluorine atom, R represents a hydrogen atom or a methyl group, and each of Yand Yindependently represents a bromine atom, an iodine atom, or a trifluoromethyl group, and a method for controlling a building-inhabiting pest, the method including treating a space in a building with the composition.
