Abstract
According to the present invention, there is provided an apparatus () for providing information, the apparatus including an acquisition unit () that acquires a captured image obtained by imaging the vicinity of a display; an image analysis unit () that detects a position on the display, which is being viewed by a person extracted from the captured image; and a control unit () that divides a display area of the display into multiple sub-areas, displays content on each of the multiple sub-areas, and makes a change to the displaying on the sub-area that is being viewed by the person extracted from the captured image.
