Abstract

An identification assembly for an article that includes a base, an identification plate, and a flexible cable, with the base being planar and having a top surface and a bottom surface, and comprising a plurality of magnet retainers, a plurality of corresponding magnets secured by the magnet retainers and protruding vertically from the top surface, a channel extending lengthwise along the top surface, wherein the height of the magnets is greater than the height of the channel; and the identifying plate being planar and comprising a top surface and a bottom surface, wherein the identifying plate is magnetically attracted to the magnets, and wherein the bottom surface is engaging said magnets; and the flexible cable being situated within the channel and extending beyond two sides of the base.
