Abstract

A display device includes one or more sensors configured to obtain sensing data, a display, a communication interface configured to perform short-range wireless communication with a mobile terminal, and a processor configured to detect proximity of an object based on the obtained sensing data, perform automatic connection with the mobile terminal when the proximity of the object is detected, and display, on the display, information received from the connected mobile terminal.
