Abstract

A urinary catheter assembly () Includes a catheter tube (), a connector (), and a urine collection bag. The assembly further includes a package with a body receiving the catheter tube () and the urine collection bag () is in its compact configuration. The bag () may be variously configured, such as having a non-woven fabric backing portion and/or an outer adhesive or containing a superabsorbent polymer additive.
