Abstract

Provided is an exhaust valve devicefor a vehicle in which a valve elementis supported in an exhaust passageby a rotating shaftaxially supported by a valve body, a flexible joint memberis secured to an output shaftof a motor unitattached to the valve body, and a lower end of the flexible joint memberand an upper end of the rotating shaftare coupled via a rigid joint member, in which the rigid joint memberincludes: a sealing elementhaving a sealing surfaceand arm portions, the sealing surfacebeing coupled to one end of the rotating shaftand sealing an axially supported portion of one end of the rotating shaft to prevent exhaust gas from leaking, the arm portionsbeing formed in a periphery of the sealing surface; and a transmission elementhaving a spring grooveand engagement grooves, the spring groovebeing coupled to the end of the flexible joint member, the engagement groovesbeing engaged with the arm portionsof the sealing elementto restrict relative rotation.
