Abstract
This invention relates to a solid MgCb-based Natta catalyst component comprising a Cto Calkyl tetrahydrofurfuryl ether as internal electron donor for producing olefin polymers and preparation of said catalyst component. Further, the invention relates to a Ziegler-Natta catalyst comprising said solid catalyst component, Group 13 metal compound as co-catalyst and optionally external additives. The invention further relates to the use of said catalyst component in producing olefin polymers, especially ethylene copolymers.
