An apparatus () for removing moisture from a surface () in a container ('), characterized by: a centrifuging element comprising a mount () for attaching said container (′) to said centrifuging element and a drive () coupled to said mount () for rotating said attached container (′) and centrifuging said moisture off said surface () in said attached container (′); and a heating element () for providing heat energy and evaporating said moisture from said surface () in said attached container (′), and a corresponding method.
