Abstract
The present invention is a file generation apparatus that generates a file for generating a virtual viewpoint image. The image file generation apparatus in one aspect of the present invention has a material information accumulation unitconfigured to acquire and accumulate material information used for generation of a virtual viewpoint image, a virtual advertisement information acquisition unitconfigured to acquire advertisement information that is displayed on a virtual viewpoint image, and an image file generation unitconfigured to generate an image file including material information and advertisement information.
