Abstract

A superconducting coil of an embodiment includes a winding frame; a superconducting wire wound around the winding frame, the superconducting wire including a first region and a second region facing the first region; and a first layer placed between the first region and the second region, the first layer including a first particle and a thermosetting resin, the first particle including crystal having volume resistivity equal to or higher than 10Ω·m and having cleavage, and the thermosetting resin surrounding the first particle.
