Abstract
A process for the operation of a type A medical device () together with a type B medical device () includes connecting the medical devices () communicatively to one another. The type A medical device () includes a display device () suitable for the display of texts in different languages. The type B medical device () has no text display features. The type B medical device () transmits a datagram () with an information identifier () to the type A medical device () for displaying a textual or at least partially textual piece of information (). Upon receipt of an information identifier () from a medical device database (), the type A medical device () loads a piece of information () consistent with the information identifier () and displays this piece of information with the display device () and for the type B medical device ().
