Abstract
According to one embodiment, a display device includes a first transparent substrate including a first main surface and a second main surface, a second transparent substrate including a third main surface, pixels arrayed in a matrix, a sealant surrounding the pixels without a break, a polymer dispersed liquid crystal layer sealed by the sealant, a third transparent substrate including a first end portion and bonded to the first main surface, and first light sources opposed to the first end portion.
