Abstract
Materials and methods for reducing, preventing, or mitigating the effects of exposure to ionizing radiation are provided herein. In general, the methods can include administering a nanoparticulate genistein composition to a subject identified as having been exposed or at risk of being exposed to ionizing radiation, such as proton radiation.
