This disclosure relates to an arrangementfor variably adjusting the cross-section of a compressor inlet. Furthermore, the disclosure relates to a charging device having such an arrangement. The arrangementcomprises a compressor housingwith a main bodyand an inlet cover. The inlet coverdefines a compressor inlet. The arrangementfurther comprises an adjustment mechanismwhich is arranged in the compressor housing. The adjustment mechanismcomprises an actuation ringand a plurality of orifice elements. Each orifice elementis coupled to the actuation ringvia a respective coupling elementand is rotatably supported in the compressor housingvia a respective shaft.
