Abstract
A water-based ink for ink-jet recording includes: a first resin-dispersed pigment, a second resin-dispersed pigment, and water, wherein the following conditions (1) and (2) are satisfied,1≥1.2  Condition (1):2<1.2  Condition (2): D1: an average particle size (nm) of the first resin-dispersed pigment after being mixed with an aqueous solution of calcium ions; D1: an average particle size (nm) of the first resin-dispersed pigment after being mixed with pure water; D2: an average particle size (nm) of the second resin-dispersed pigment after being mixed with an aqueous solution of calcium ions; D2: an average particle size (nm) of the second resin-dispersed pigment after being mixed with pure water.
