Abstract
A number-of-occupants detection system () is configured to include an image acquisition unit () that acquires, from an imaging apparatus mounted on a first vehicle, an image of a second vehicle existing around the first vehicle and a count unit () that counts the number of occupants of the second vehicle using the image acquired by the image acquisition unit ().
