Abstract

The pathway/landscape lamps include an elongated fixture body having an upper end and a lower end; at least one light source mounted to the upper end of the fixture body; a ground engaging post provided at the lower end of the fixture body; and a telescoping shade with a reflective top cover provided over the light source and translucent sides at least partially surrounding the light source. The telescoping shade configured to move from a lowered position allowing light from the light source to be directed downward, to a raised position allowing for light to be emitted both sideways and downward from the light source. A second embodiment of the telescoping shade include at least one vertically adjustable side shade configured to selectively block light to be emitted in a sideway direction.
