Abstract
A light emitting diode (LED) lamp includes a primary LED grouping (), a switchable LED grouping (), and a conduction path selector () configured to select a conductive path that places the primary LED grouping in electrical series with at least a portion of the switchable LED grouping, or bypasses the switchable LED grouping. The primary LED grouping have a first color temperature rating, and each respective LED subgrouping have a respective color temperature different from the first color temperature. Selection of one or more LED subgrouping results in the LED lamp emitting different color temperatures.
